Why I became a nutritional therapist...

I know firsthand what it's like to suffer from severe hormonal imbalances. For years, I struggled with PMDD which manifested as, among other symptoms, uncontrollable anger and depression, making it difficult to maintain both work and personal relationships.


In my early 30s it became so unbearable that I saw a consultant and practically begged for a hysterectomy, which they wouldn't allow (because in their opinion I might still want children). I realised that I had to find another way to take back control over my body, so I researched the non-surgical and non-pharmaceutical options that were available to me.

It wasn't until I discovered the power of nutritional therapy and lifestyle changes that I was finally able to find myself again. There was a lot of trial error as I experimented with different foods and supplements but, after many many hours on Pubmed and other research sites, I found a combination that worked for me.

 

My personal challenge currently is navigating perimenopause as naturally as possible, using everything I've learned in my health journey so far.

 

Now, as a certified nutritional therapist, I'm here to support you in your own journey towards optimal health and wellness.

As a Nutritional Therapist, I specialise in Naturopathic Consultations designed to improve your overall health and well-being. During our time together, we'll take a comprehensive approach, covering everything from your childhood illnesses to your current concerns. And, given my own personal experiences, you can rest assured that you will be heard without judgement.

 

I'll work with you to formulate a nutrition and lifestyle plan that fits seamlessly into your everyday life and use functional testing and supplements as needed. With regular reviews, we'll ensure that you're on the right path towards optimal health.
